Raised by a psychic and a carpenter (that's actually true), Joshua's humble beginning in the entertainment industry was as a horse in a community Christmas play. In his late teen years he had more complementary roles acting in MOWs, science fiction shows, and commercials. At twenty-one he joined the cruise lines; first as an entertainment host, then later on, a filmmaker. For six years he travelled around the world filming everything from celebrity interviews, safety videos, promotional material, stock footage, excursions and more. Throughout all this time, he honed his skills as a writer and later was often awarded as a top fifty screenwriter in some of Hollywood's top competitions. After retiring his cruise ship career, his day-jobs consisted of video and animatic editing for shows on networks and streaming services such as Netflix, PBS, OWN, TLC, and more. In his free time, he continued directing projects large and small. Today he's pushing his work as a screenwriter and director full-time with the goal of becoming a Showrunner and Head Writer of his own series.
